Our Foundation

Owned by Melinda & Jayson Nag, Soul Sweat Hot Yoga opened its doors under new management in 2016. Formerly known as Sumits Hot Yoga, the Nags created Soul Sweat as a great opportunity to restore and bring to Fort Worth a fresh, upbeat HOT YOGA studio. Since opening under the Nags in 2016, SSHY has acquired multiple awards, including Star-Telegram's "Best Yoga Studio 2018" and "Fort Worth's Best-Of Yoga Studio of 2020". In November of 2018, SSHY opened a new, state-of-the-art studio location in the Near Southside District of Fort Worth, housing 2 yoga rooms, and multiple sought-after amenities. As a Studio, Soul Sweat Hot Yoga (SSHY) continues to host classes that are based on the teachings of Sumits Hot Yoga. This yoga sequence (Soul Sweat Sequence or SSS) was created by Sumit Banerjee and is based on his own years of experience practicing/teaching various yoga styles. Many of our students find benefits in this sequence, ranging from a stronger, more toned and flexible body, and an improved state of mind that encourages relaxation, self-acceptance and awareness. As a Soul Sweat Community, we are filled with individuals who welcome everyone. From experienced students to new-comers, our Studio has kept its doors open because of the acceptance and assistance we offer each SSHY Client. “Set Your Soul on Fire” (‘16-’18) & “Fuel Your Fire, Find Your Soul” (‘18-now)
