When, Cydney was in high school, she was in the midst of searching for an outlet as a safe space for her to find peace, once she found yoga she never looked back. After a long volleyball career, she racked up a wide array of sports related injuries. Her yoga practice not only became a place to help her body heal, but her mind as well. She can always find sweat and solace on her mat.Cydney always wanted to expand her knowledge about yoga ever since she first began, the universe finally gave her the window she had been waiting for and she completed her 200 RYT certification at Soul Sweat Hot Yoga. Cyd is a creative yet intentional teacher, integrating modern practice with yoga tradition. In her classes, you can expect to get flowy, dance it out to a funky playlist, and create a sense of mindfulness to fill your spirit. When she is not at the studio, Cydney is responsible for caring for the smallest and most vulnerable of patients as a NICU nurse. She is a lover of all Mother Earth has to offer and relishes in getting out in nature to hike and loving on all animals, especially her two rescue cats. Some of her favorite pastimes include jamming to live music, exploring art museums, traveling the world, spending time with loved ones, and thrift shopping. Falling in love with yoga has been life changing for Cyd, and she hopes she can be a genuine teacher and enthusiastic student as long as she can roll out her mat.
