Christine was first drawn to the practice of yoga as a fun way to stay active while traveling. She loved the ambiance and community of yoga studios which always provided a sense of home. She truly stumbled into a hot yoga practice by chance and it wasn’t love at first sight. After completing a commitment of a new student special, she was addicted. Yoga continues to provide a place to feel grounded while the many seasons of life unfolded.
Christine is an E-RYT 500. Christine completed her 200-hour training with Sumits Hot Yoga and sequence creator, Sumit Banjeree. Several years later, she traveled to Wanderlust Austin to complete Gioconda Parker’s Yin Teacher Training. Christine completed her 300hr certification with Soul Sweat Hot Yoga under Melinda Nag. Other influences include Myofascial Release (MFR) training with Tiffany Cruikshank.
Christine aims to hold space for her students and teach classes that are focused, mindful, encouraging, and challenging. Her second love and passion for music is weaved through her classes.
