Maddie McBride

Maddie was first introduced to yoga by her mom after graduating high school. Seeking a new hobby after years of competitive sports she found it and so much more in a very unexpected place.

At Texas A&M she interned and practiced at local studios. After coming back to Fort Worth to marry her high school sweetheart and pursue engineering she was searching for a home studio and found community at Soul Sweat. In 2020 she decided to jump into her 200 hour teacher training and later completed her Yin training in 2024.After over a decade of an ever evolving practice, yoga became and still is one of the most consistent parts of her life.

Balancing a fast pace engineering career, being a mom, a wife and all the other fun things life has to offer, yoga is always there. From getting to attend yoga retreats across the world, to leading workshops to simply practicing every week, yoga has been a place to connect, be with community, find presence and stillness as life unfolds. Maddie loves the comfort and the heat of the sequence, the challenge and growth in power vinyasa and the stillness of Yin. She teaches in hopes of helpings others find their own unique practice, providing space to grow, to breath and to flow.

Outside of the studio, Maddie can be found with her two favorite boys – husband Jordan and son Landon, and their two corgis – Roo and Honey. Maddie loves to try new restaurants and visits local coffee and wine shops. A good cappuccino is the way to her heart.
