Kelsey Chanthavong


Kelsey’s yoga journey started as a new hobby in a new city. When she moved to Fort Worth from San Diego, she thought yoga could be a great way to meet people. She quickly fell in love with not only the yoga, but the community of likeminded people it came with. Kelsey will always be grateful for the experience she had during such a vulnerable time in her life.

With her gymnastics background and coaching experience, signing up and completing her 200 RYT certification was a no brainer. About two years into teaching yoga for Soul Sweat, she made the (very scary) decision to quit her day job to be a full-time yoga teacher. As of today, she is managing the studio with the hope that she can create the same great experience she was given and to build a strong community behind it. She is known for her heart-pumping music and Soul Strength classes. Her drive is to create challenging, creative sequences where students can break boundaries and build new limits within their own practice. Kelsey has since completed her 300hr certification under Melinda Nag making her an E-RYT 500.

Kelsey is an Indiana transplant. She has a true passion for travel and uses it to expand her comfort zone. She has moved to multiple cities by herself but for now Texas is home. When she’s not at the studio, you can catch her snuggling with her husband and two dogs while watching a movie or drinking craft beer during a hike by the lake!
