Sarah found yoga when she was a junior in high school as a supplement to her competitive swimming workouts. Experiencing burnout while spending over a decade staring at the blue line at the bottom of a swim lane, yoga helped Sarah reconnect with her body and spirit. Noticing a decrease in the tremors she developed in her hands and an overall brighter outlook on her physical being, she continued her yoga practice long after her swimming career came to an end.
Practicing yoga through college helped Sarah manage stress and led her to pursue teacher training at Soul Sweat Hot Yoga under the guidance of Melinda Nag, where she received her 200 hour yoga certification. Sarah is a TCU grad and a native of San Diego, California. She is a lover of the earth, the ocean, the outdoors, sunshine, and all things music. Her classes are highly energetic and as a teacher, she takes great pride in her playlists. To Sarah, yoga started as a workout and slowly evolved to the foundation in the way in which she moves through the world. Sarah is a lifelong student forever cultivating a beginner’s mind.
